of The Center for the Intimate Arts

Sheri Winston, CNM, RN, BSN, LMT  is the Founder and Executive Director of The Center for the Intimate Arts. Her unique perspective, which she calls Wholistic Sexuality™, is derived from decades of experience as a certified nurse-midwife, gynecology practitioner, registered nurse, holistic healer, childbirth educator, massage therapist and student of the esoteric erotic arts. Her classes and workshops for men and women are celebrated for their fun, non-threatening character and the superb quality of the information.

Carl Frankel is the Managing Director of The Center for the Intimate Arts. He brings three decades’ experience as an entrepreneur and writer to his role as head of business operations. A graduate of Columbia Law School, he has worked with numerous start-up and early-stage companies as a consultant, team member and owner. He is also a writer, having authored the well-received Out of the Labyinth: Who We Are, How We Go Wrong, And What We Can Do About It, and In Earth's Company: Business, Environment and the Challenge of Sustainability. He comes to his position as Managing Director after a 20-year career in business and sustainable development.

Val Vadeboncoeur is our operations manager, a/k/a office genie. If this were a NASCAR team, he'd be in charge of the pit crew (and Sheri would be the person leaving rubber on the racetrack). Over the years, Val has worked as a journalist, a professional facilitator, and an organizational development consultant -- and now he's bringing his multi-faceted expertise to The Center for the Intimate Arts.

Ontario-based Viktoria Kalenteris is our all-purpose super-support person. Viktoria helps out with  marketing and is also our Canadian representative, responsible for managing relations with our business partners north of the border. In the rest of her life, Viktoria is a sex educator and all-round fine person.

Amanda Giles is our go-to goddess for all things web-related and has been an enthusiastic supporter of Sheri's work for many years now. While many of the day-to-day technical details are actually handled by Sheri, Carl and Viktoria these days, Amanda continues to provide advice and on-call support as needed. She has her own business in beautiful seacoast NH providing IT consulting, programming, websites, and even occasionally photography. In fact, her photo is the one appearing on the cover of Women's Anatomy of Arousal!
